Replacing an HSBC Amanah visa debit card-i


Contact HSBC Amanah Call Centre immediately if your HSBC Amanah Visa Debit Card-i is lost or stolen. The reported card will be cancelled by us and a new card will be issued to you at your local HSBC Amanah branch.

Reporting incorrect transactions and disputes


If you suspect any unauthorised activity on your HSBC Amanah Visa Debit Card-i, you must contact HSBC Amanah Call Centre immediately, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To dispute a transaction, you must report the transaction within 60 days from the statement date it posts and we will investigate for you.

The Card Number

Use the card number when making purchases online, by phone, or by mail.

The CVV Number

A 3 digit number on the reverse of the card, next to the signature panel, which may be required for online or phone purchases.


Ensure the card security

Information

Card authorisations

Some merchants (usually car rentals or hotels) may check that there are sufficient funds in the account by sending an authorisation request to HSBC Amanah. On approval, part of the account balance is blocked for charges which may be incurred until the transaction is concluded for tabulation of finalised payment.
